AISHA KING

Aisha King is a ceramic artist living in Brooklyn who has been working with clay since the age of 11. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Aisha pursued pottery throughout her early education and at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina. Despite exploring various mediums, she has always returned to clay. After a brief hiatus, Aisha reignited her passion for pottery while pursuing a Masters degree in Public Health at the University of Washington in Seattle. Living amidst the vibrancy of the Pacific Northwest, Aisha also discovered her love for yoga and running, which inspired a series of figurines. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2019, Aisha has been an active member of the ceramics community and continues to refine her methods and work. She has taught several ceramics classes over the years and loves sharing her passion with new students.
