REBECCA WOLF
I like to teach the different ways of working with clay and I have ideas for students to work from, but really I try to just allow to them to follow what they’re inspired by. Sometimes we all just need time to get messy, have fun and let our imagination loose.
I have been playing with clay most of my life. Sometimes more clay, sometimes working in other media. I have worked with stained glass, paper-making, basketry, box constructions, landscape constructions, painting, watercolors and fine pencil drawing. My clay work includes porcelain carving, hand building, wheel work, slip casting…and then there’s building sand castles. I enjoy finding an idea and playing with it and exploring the possibilities where they take me.
I have a BFA from Antioch University. I have been teaching children’s classes and summer camp at Clayworks for almost ten years now.
