GRIFFIN WEISWOLF

My name is Griffin Weiswolf, and I am a longtime local and a former Clayworks student. I have been working with kids professionally for several years and currently teach Clayworks teen class as well as working on the studio’s glaze team, and running DND for teenagers when I’m not making my own art or teaching. I have been pursuing ceramics for over half of my life on and off, as well as various other mediums, primarily making sculptural work. I have a particular interest in what might be called fantastical sculpture and imaginary portraiture. I am often inspired by geological and natural forms as well as the appearance of antiquity and ancient pottery.
