Rental
Clayworks on Columbia provides master potters with the equipment, glazes, kilns, exhibitions and necessary support services to enhance their skills and to improve their access to the general neighborhood and Brooklyn's expanding artistic communities.
Studio rental includes:
- use of the studio any time when class is not in session
- use of facilities and studio glazes
- personal shelf space for ware and tools
- shared shelf space for work in progress
- inclusion in holiday sale, gallery walks, and other exhibitions
Rental cost:
Upstairs shelf: $190
Basement shelf: $170
Renters are responsible for their own materials including, but not limited to, clay, underglaze, and glazes used in bulk. Renters are responsible for scheduling and operating kilns. Firing fees apply on a per kiln basis (firing fee schedule is posted at the studio). Please contact us regarding studio benefits for renters.
Open studio time for non-students/non-renters is available for $8.00 per hour plus firing fees.
